Huawei announced its Ascdiscontinue Mate phablet at this year's Consumer Electronic Show, but the device is only now starting to create its way to stores around the globe. The device will go on sale in Australia, starting from April 20.

Huawei Ascdiscontinue Mate sports a massive 6.1" IPS display with a resolution of 720 x 1280 pixels. The phablet features a 1.5 Giga Hertz (GHz) quad-core processor along with 2 Giga Bytes (GB) of RAM, 8 megapixel rear capturing camera with Light Emitting Diode (LED) flash, 1 megapixel front facing camera, Android 4.1 Jelly Bean and a relatively gigantic 4,050mAh battery.

Sadly, the latest phablet from Huawei will not be 4G enabled, but the device will support five 3G frequency bands along with 4 Global System for Mobile communication (GSM) bands, which allows you to utilize the phablet overseas without any hassle.

Huawei Ascdiscontinue Mate will be available in black color option and the device carries a price tag of AU$429.
