Samsung held a special press event in Taiwan, where it announced the availability of LTE-capable devices including the Galaxy S5, Galaxy Note 3, Note 3 Neo and introduced a recent entry-level smartphone dubbed Galaxy Core Lite.
Samsung Galaxy Core Lite features a 4.7" WVideo Graphics Array (VGA) display and runs on Snapdragon 400 chipset with a quad-core Cortex-A7 processor and 1GB of RAM. The other specs highlights are a 5MP rear capturing camera with a Light Emitting Diode (LED) flash, 8GB expandable storage, LTE connectivity and a 2,000 mAh battery.
Android 4.3 Jelly Bean is ticking inside the Galaxy Core Lite and it's unclear when and if it will ever acquire to Android 4.4 KitKat.
The Galaxy Core Lite will hit the shelves in Taiwan this month at TWD7,990 or about €195. There is no word if the Core Lite will launch on other markets as well.
