HTC One mini is now getting the company's latest Sense 6.0 UI via a software update. Currently it is rolling out in stages across Europe, but barring any problems with it, the update should go global shortly after.

In addition to HTC Sense 6 UI, you'll also acquire Extreme Power Saving Mode, better capturing camera and improved BlinkFeed. Here is the full change log:

  • HTC Sense 6 update
  • Color coded themes for easy navigation
  • Personalized Font style
  • Extreme Power Saving Mode
  • Button that clears all recent apps
  • New interface for Gallery and Camera
  • Image Match function to find photos faster in the Gallery
  • Support POI (Points of interest) location in Gallery's Map view
  • Smoother BlinkFeed, continuous scrolling experience
  • New BlinkFeed UI to intuitively add recent content
  • Nearby restaurant recommendations
  • Schedule function for the Do Not Disturb mode
  • Improved Music app

The Sense 6 update for One mini weighs about 500Mega Bytes (MB) and is available to the KitKat-running One mini units in selected markets. We expect it to rollout globally in the upcoming weeks.

We want to remind you the original HTC One (M7) and HTC One Max already got the Sense 6 treatment, so if you have one of those devices, you may want to check for an update.

Thank you, Nikola Hristomirov, for the tip!
