The latest iPhone 6 rumor to come out of China recommends that the upcoming iPhone 6 may retain the 1GB of Random-Access Memory (RAM) of its 5 and 5s predecessors.

The information comes from a document detailing the Random-Access Memory (RAM) chip. While iOS devices generally have done well in the multitasking department despite lagging far behind Android's top devices (which are assumed to reach 4GB this year) Apple has upgraded their Random-Access Memory (RAM) from generation to generation - 128Mega Bytes (MB) for the iPhone 3G, 256Mega Bytes (MB) for the iPhone 3GS, 512Mega Bytes (MB) for the iPhone's 4 and 4S and 1GB for the 5, 5c and 5s.

The GeekBar source that leaked the document has had success with Apple leaks before.

It's a strong possibility that Apple will release a 4.7" iPhone 6 and 5.5" iPhone 6 (or 6L) with different batteries so it's also quite possible to see different chipsets - which could include a incompatibility in RAM.

Luckily there's not that long left to wait - rumors started heating up way back in the beginning of the year and now we're nearing the expected September 9 unveil.
