The President, Dangote Group, Alhaji Aliko Dangote, has been honoured with the 2015 Clinton Global Citizen Award for leadership in the private sector for his contributions to the development of the African society and the world at large.

According to a statement by the group, the award ceremony was hosted by a former President of the United States, Bill Clinton, in New York.
